Cross country roadtrip from West coast to East coast and back in 2 weeks!
Not exactly where to post this thread at as it doesn't have a category that I can put it in. After working for about 4 years straight... I have finally decided to take a vacation. I'll be starting my roadtrip on Friday March 7th at around 4pm. First stop will be in Tucson Arizona where I'll be dropping off an exhaust system to a CL forum member. I should be arriving there by around midnight and then continuing my journey to Austin Texas. If all goes well, I should be arriving at my destination in Texas by Saturday night. Sunday morning I'll be meeting up with some of my customers during the cars n coffee event. I'll be staying in Austin for a couple days and will be attending the TX2k14 event. I'll be leaving roughly Thursday early morning and continuing my trip to Miami Florida. I'll be there for a few days and then heading all the way back to Cali. Yes I'll be doing this in my IS250 and by myself
Did some maintenance on it this past weekend. Replaced the front brake pads, oil change, replaced oil level sensor gasket, new cold air intake filter. Tires are still in great shape even though I'm slammed. However I'll be flipping the rear tires when I get to Texas
I'm super excited!!!
I'll be taking tons of pics throughout the trip

I am actually doing this trip in june, except I am going from NY to LA. Ive done plenty of long distance trips. I've done NY to Dallas texas, and I got there in 26 hours but thats driving straight with the only stops were for gas. It was in a slammed G8. Also I just did from NY to FL last week and got there in 13 hours. (upstate NY to jacksonville)
My only advice is if your riding lowered/slammed and you have any camber, put aside some tire money as during my texas trip. I had enough tread on the way there but on the way back, I was showing treads. And that was on like -5 camber more or less

Agreed. There are some questionable areas where your not used to so unless your okay with being slammed, I would raise it up at least to where you can fit a fist under the lowest part of the car. Maybe even higher

Two weeks for both ways, if you can do three weeks that would be much better. It would give you enough time to stay and enjoy the sights.
You should go up to NY and back on I90 then down 101 to cali IMO... then you can see just about the entire USA in one go
Its a fun trip!
