IS350: Clunking sound over bumps
My IS350 has 100,000+ miles on it and it started to clunk when going over bumps in the road. At first it was just the front/right side but then it developed in the rear too. I thought my shocks were bad so I replaced them only to find the noise still exists!
I discovered I can replicate the noise when I'm going about 10mph and I shuffle the steering wheel back and forth to make the car rock.
It seems the clunk sounds everyone else gets are caused by a variety of things.
