Former 335i owner... My first Lexus!
Hi ClubLexus....
I'm Dan, previous owner of two 335i's, well one was mine and one was the ex-gf's at the time.
That car was insanely fast with just about a grand invested in it but it was also very unreliable. I won't go into much detail about that car, lets just say it got lemoned and it nearly killed me twice thanks to it's wonderful German engineered high pressure fuel pump.
I wanted something reliable after the 335i. Bought a brand new 2011 Prius and have been puttering around in it ever since. Well that was until recently when I decided 3 years with it was enough. I was looking around at potential replacement cars for a short period. Came across this gem, 2011 IS350 with Luxury Package, Navi, Spoiler, Starfire Pearl on Black Interior with only 18k miles. I think I might have paid a bit much for it, $32k + fees but it looked and smelled brand new. After driving it, I couldn't resist. Next day, I told my wife I was going to get some groceries, 2 hours later the Prius was gone and the IS350 was parked in it's place. =) Wife was NOT happy when she found out, turns out she had some weird sentimental attachment to the Prius. Oops.
Anyways, good news is now she likes it and the reason is because it matches her Starfire RX350.
Enough blabbering, here is the new girl.
Bored at work so I wrapped my key.

Love it. I think you made a great decision getting rid of the Prius... And the sentimental attachment to a Prius issue, I will never understand. LOL. Very nice ride and welcome to the IS family.

Your 335 to Prius to IS350 journey reminds me of when I was younger, my dad went from a Cadillac to a K-Car (Plymouth reliant) to a Mercedes S-Class. I could never understand it.
I know you're going to love the Lexus and I hope you get years of enjoyment out of it!
