Opinion: Mag Blue Volk RE28 in Silver IS350
I am looking to buy a used set of 19" Volk RE28's in Mag Blue. I would like your opinion on what you think the blue wheels look on a silver car. I am not going for the Ricey look but want something clean but a bit different. I haven't had them on the car yet and am a bit torn getting them on not. Here are some picks of the same color wheels on other silver cars for examples. Please let me know your opinions. Also what do you think is a fair price for a set of RE28's 19's in good condition?

I thought these are CE28's. Under most lighting conditions, mag blue wheels will look like gloss black which is awesome. They won't look dark blue until it's in sunlight which is still awesome. I like it.

Agreed. I think BLUE no matter how dark is blue....it isn't subtle and at least where I'm located it draws attention.
Side note - if you don't buy the CE28, can you give me the info on them? I've been looking for a set and will powdercoat them! I have TE37 in 19x9.5/10.5, +22 I could trade as well.

I will just have to go out and see them in person. I don't hate the color but and not a huge fan of it either. But it is so hard to find the RE28's used in the perfect size and offset that I want. I guess if I can get the price down a bit I could always have them painted or powdercoated if I hate the blue.

Think I am going to skip the mag blue wheels and keep looking for another set. I think I will get tired of them and my wife even quicker. I did fine another set of gunmetal RE28's in 18X7.5 (+43) and 18X8.5 (+40). I track the car a lot so the weight savings of the 18's will be nice and tires are a lot cheaper. Probably going to run a 225/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear but I am not sure of the 7.5" wide wheels up front.
