Default Quick Release Bumper Fasteners....

So I know there are a few 2IS owners that have these... what jm talkimg about is these passwordJDM (i think) Quick Release fastener with that rubber band lookimg thing.... just wanted to know if it was easy to install yourself. Also how did you do it and where exactly did you put them.. just wanted to know because I'm tired of rubbing on my bumper tabs and have no idea on where to relocate them to so I'm just going to shave them off.. Any help is greatly appreciated. .. pics too if possible. .

I'm pretty sure its pretty straight forward, drill in the holes to the bumper and the fenders, lock in the hardware for each side and then connect the rubber ring in to it

link for reference

Reviving the old thread, I just order some quick releases and was wondering how do you how far apart do you space them? I don't want to over space them and not being able to put the rubber band, and I don't want to under space them and still have the bumper sag and redrill a new hole.

2.5"-3" is about right just measure from center of each spool and when you drill tape around the area and start with a small bit and work your way up it'll come out cleaner and less chance of screwing up and messing up your paint job
