Humming coming from new bulb
I just installed a new set of stock D4S Phillips bulbs. The driver's side went out a few months ago. Once I installed them, I turned them on with the car off (turning on a/c power) and they both lit up fine but the one on the drivers side is humming. I let it sit for a minute and the humming slowly quieted to almost nothing but it made me realize that I had heard that side doing that with the old bulb before it went out. So I'm wondering is this normal or is the ballast bad and if so, where do I find the ballast?
Thanks

Everything is fine! Most people when something happens to their cars as from repairs or replacements they start "hearing" things! Which in reality is more like noticing normal things! The humming is always been there. As the person before me said that means the ballasts are working, the humming is the high voltage going through and you won't likely hear it while the engine is running due to the extra noise
