Default Bluetooth Caller Names Not Showing

I did a search but all that came up stuff from 2012. Anyone ever figure out how to display the name of the incoming caller on the bluetooth? I have an iPhone 4s updated to the latest operating system and a 2012 IS250 with Navi.

I have 7th Gen Navigation (2013) where as you have 6th Gen Navigation (2010-2012). For me, under my Bluetooth settings on my iPhone, under devices, when my vehicle is selected, there is an option that says, "Sync Contacts." I have that selected and have no issues. I am not sure if you have the same options in your settings due to different generations of navigation systems. Besides map updates, there are often firmware updates that the dealership can provide to you under warranty, assuming you are still in the 4yr/50 window, and after following all directions hasn't fixed the issue.

The 2010-2012 is not a "Cloud System" like the 2013 where every time you start the car a refreshed phonebook is sent to the car, but it does have the ability to Transfer Contacts by TRANSFER or ADD CONTACTS if the user manually clicks on one to update their phonebook

Not sure if the '12 is the same as my '07, but in mine, the caller need to be in your nav system contacts for the name to show up. If it is not, the number will show ONLY if the car isn't moving--otherwise, it will flash "INCOMING CALL". If the car is stopped, the number will show.

The callers in question were in the Navi address book but their names did not show up when they called. I re-synced the address book so fingers crossed the names will show up. I'll keep you guys posted.

No they are not, here's the breakdown of Navi Generations in the 2IS

2006-2009 5th Gen

I know the nav gen changed -- I meant, I don't know if the functionality of the BT change from '07 to '12 as to displaying incoming calls.
