You can get a new set (not just the lenses) from Sewell for around $550.

My headlights were hazy and considered buying new headlights, but I followed a DIY posted in the details forum section that came out pretty good -- I used power tool (Porter Cable) for polishing; it's probably very difficult to hand polish with any restoration kit. I also apply a "sealant" after each car wash and the lens has been good so far after 2 months.

I also found a permanent sealant solution that you can DIY and mix fairly cheaply, but I haven't tried it yet. Of course if your hazing is from the inside these steps probably won't help.

Hey Flat... if you want clear lenses, get STI-R lenses from TheRetrofitSource. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...l#.Uu2pLnkhHW0

Looking at your earlier posts... that haze sure looks like it is on the inside; not the outside. The tool who had my '06 350 wrecked the sealing in my headlights which was what prompted me to start all of my headlight mods.

When I did my clear lens swap /spacer mod, I sanded and sealed the inside plastic as well as the outside, then used Oci Butyl rubber to re-seal them properly http://www.theretrofitsource.com/acc...l#.Uu2ppXkhHW0

Since I did this; I haven't had the smallest drop of moisture since!

Makes a more colorful cutoff.

Full disclosure; these aren't OEM IS x.50 projectors. These are retrofitted BiXenon MD2S 3.0s from TRS.

I just did this same mod . I used the TRS STI-r lenses with 50w morimoto 4500k bulbs. I dont have them completely back in the car yet , but seem to have a really good output just running off a 12v source . I compared them to a E55 bmw projector w/ PIAA 6000k and Bosch balast I had laying around . The E55s definitely have a sharper cutoff but my IS lights are pretty close .

Oh... but just wait until you test them from behind the headlight lens; you'll be amazed at how much clarity you will lose!

Here's a snap of some "before they were behind the lens" photos (these are the Morimoto Mini D2S3.0 projectors that are currently retrofitted in my IS)...

No matter how good they look; inevitably; you're going to end up with some shadows and distorted cutoffs due to the way the lens is constructed (see below):

The pic above is looking through a brand new lens from a isX50 headlight that has never been used. Notice the blurred/ distorted parts circled in red?

Last but not least... You'll think you've solved the problem by retaining the stock IS projectors with a clear lense swap. Believe me; I went through the same thing myself:

Here's an output pic with the stock IS projectors; XB35 5K morimoto bulb and a motimoto three five ballast (this is with no plastic lens / housing in front of it):

Here's what the output was after sealing everything up:

Bottom line... DON'T GO THROUGH ALL THAT WORK FOR JUST A CLEAR LENSE SWAP. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE RESULTS AND WISH THAT YOU DID A PROJECTOR SWAP LIKE I DID!
