vendors don't always know what model year their products will fit; so even though the hood says 06-08 but i'm pretty sure it'll fit 06-13 since the hood hasn't changed ?

if it's already cleared, and you want to give it extra protection then how about using opticoat? It's only $70, got to be cheaper than adding more clearcoat, and you can do the rest of the car too.

of course, getting a buffer and all the other prep stuff to do it right would be another story...

did your car see a lot of sun light when you used to daily it? like did you park it out in the sun a lot, etc?

so would anyone recommend against clear braing a cf hood? since then you won't be able to wax the cf hood on a regular basis which makes it more susceptible to yellowing over time?
