Default Where to buy an OEM painted front bumper on the cheap?

My baby just hit 100K. Driving here in South Florida, we have to deal with dump truck ******* drivers dropping their load (!) all over the highway.

With that said, i need a new bumper to replace my pitted one. Do I have any option short of the Sewell one priced at ~$500?

Anybody know how I can make this happen cheaper?

Just have yours repainted if all you've got are chips.

I doubt you'll be able to find one cheaper than Sewell for new and painted.

It's pitted pretty bad, I think it will have to be replaced.

Unless you have major crack or holes, any body shop should be able to make your pitted bumper look brand new

I highly doubt it needs to be replaced.

If you have a 2008, you can buy an OEM aftermarket bumper for $150 on ebay and take it to any body shop and have them paint it. I just had my bumper done and it cost me 150 so your looking at 300 bucks.

BUT if ts just chips, any body shop can do it for less than 300. Or you can sand down the paint and fill the chips spots with bondo and then just bring it to the body shop to paint. save your self the money. There are tons of videos on YouTube that show you how to do it. Its not hard at all. I have SOME body work experience but i can tell you that it is extremely easy to do even for a detail oriented beginner.

I do have 2008 actually. How was the fit and finish on that aftermarket bumper you bought?

I did the IS-f style Front bumper on my IS. It fit great and looks exactly like OEM. No spaces, no gaps, no nothing. I still have my OEM bumper but i prefer the F front end. Most body shops would use aftermarket bumpers anyway so accident or not, the 150 bumper is the same and would have OEM fitment

Sewell is like $800 for a painted one.
