Default p/s light "power steering failure" covered?

so i just got the actuator gear recall done.. then a week later the "p/s" light came on? i usually get my service done at sewell dallas ft worth. but since i live 5 hours away from dallas, closest is ALderson in lubbock. will my cpo 100k warranty still cover? i have 78k odometer .

Depending when you buy the car; I think CPO is 3 years.

CPO is 3 years, 100k total miles.

If you are past the 3rd year, Alderson will charge you a diagnosis fee. Sewell probably wont because they just did repairs on your car a week ago and now the light came on.
