Hey Guys I am having a problem with my 06 IS250 consuming oil.... Just left the dealership for about the 5th no exaggeration. My low oil level light had come on 2,200 miles after getting a oil change.... Obviously this is not normal. The TSB for the carbon build up would cause the car to burn oil... it does misfire here and there but only once in a while. What do I do?? Has anyone come across this problem? Thanks guys

Basically they said the same story as every other time.... Come back in 1200 miles for us to check oil consumption again.... This is the 5th time

How low was the oil when you brought it in? If it isn't at what Lexus considers "excessive" as per the bulletin, you may not be able to get much done. If it's close, Lexus corporate may be able to help.

I'm not exactly sure how low the oil was. It was enough for the light to go on. I'll stop by the dealer on the way home and ask. I just spoke to lexus customer support and the exec team will be in touch with me within the next 2 days. It would be good for me to have this info anyways.
