Default HID Fog Light Question

So I'm looking to upgrade to HID fogs and I want them to match my stock HID headlights. I was wondering if I got the kit for 4300k for my fogs, if they would be a pretty close identical match to my headlights. The reason I ask is cause I talked to Tommy @MusicBox and he only has 6000k and told me that it would probably be really difficult to match my stock HID projectors with my fogs.

Is there any way to do it or should I just change my headlight D4S bulbs as well?

ya u should buy 6000k d4s bulbs to replace stock projector lights or just find another vendor that sells 4300k kits... i think HID Powerhouse sells 4300k kits and they are CL vendors...

I have Garax 6000k and it matches the '11-'12 head light LEDs, then I have DDM 6000k for the fogs and the fogs are a bit bluer, not to bad tho.

you're not going to get an exact color match. both use different types of bulbs that output light differently.

best you can do is to get close, but with 6000k you'll lose some light output from the OEM HID's.

that decrease will be offset by the increase in light output w/ aftermarket HID's in your fog lights.

should I just get 5000k D4S and Fogs then? I was trying to find a 4300k HID Fog Light kit cause it would probably be cheaper to just buy the kit than to get a kit and replace my D4S bulb.

Even if you get matching bulbs with matching kits for both your headlights and foglights, they will still be slightly different because of the absence of a projector in your fog lights. Unless you plan on retrofitting a projector in your foglights, the closest you can get to matching is by getting matching bulbs and ballasts.
