LOL!

Sidenote, my service advisor said the # of recalls on my '06 350 had to have been some sort of record : 12 + 1 (cam gear recall). Not sure, but I think he included the TSIBs.

Got mine last week, too. Haven't acted on it, yet. What a pain in the *ss!
Also got one, the same day, for the wiper mounting nut.

It came in the same envelope with the "Internal trunk release lever (handle)" notice. The wiper arm notice says:
"Each wiper arm is installed onto a pivot shaft which is linked to the wiper motor mechanism by an installation nut (wiper arm nut). The wiper arm nut may not have been tightened sufficiently due to high friction between the nut and the wiper arm. Under certain usage conditions, such as a buildup of heavy snow on the windshield, one or bothh of the wipers could become inoperative. Inoperative wiper arms could reduce driver visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

What will Lexus do?
...will clean the mating surface of the wiper arm and pivot shaft. During reassembly improved wiper arm nuts will be installed..."

Yeah, my dash sucks, but there's no recall for it, AFAIK.

Does anyone know will they change your oil when they do the actuator recall? I don't want to change my oil and take it to them if they are just going to dump it and go again...

A lexus tech posting in a different thread said the oil is not changed during this recall.

It's true my car has had a handful of recalls but technically speaking my car has never given me any problems. The recalls have all been prophylactic in a sense. And, they've all been free of charge.

On my first visit at Lexus Service in Clearwater after I bought my 2011 IS350 F-Sport in BMW dealership. 2 recalls have been done already which is the Wiper Arms and the Trunk Release Lever for free. The service advisor mentioned to check if there is any recall for my car while it is being service.
