Hey all. I have a 2010 IS250 AWD and from day one the oil drain plug has been tough to thread back into that stamped steel piece of the pan. I know one day its just not going go hold anymore and I want to look into getting a replacement just to have. Im having trouble finding it on any site Ive checked. Anyone know where I could get it and how much they run? Ive attached a picture of the part im talking about, or at least what it looks like Im not sure if thats the exact part. When i found the pic on google it said it was from an 07 GS i believe. Idk if the AWD model uses a different oil pan assembly as all the ones Ive found are like half moon shaped. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the threads on the pan my be a little bad. I would suggest buying a replacement drain bolt and from that finding the right tap and on your next oil change retap threads then install the new oil drain plug.

I know, I would rather just replace it, though.
