Default $480 for 8945830010 really

Well got a call back from service today to be informed that the the fuel pressure sensor was faulty and they were going to do me a favor and not going to charge for labor. However the part was going to be $480......!!!

Thoughts

Well, Sewell list price is $387.20, online price is $331.68, and with CL discount is $236.19.

If they won't price match, order it from Sewell and just pay the labor. It would most likely still be cheaper than the $480 you were quoted.

Thanks yes I found it online too for $200.
Looks pretty simple to install... but maybe someone can chime in that has replaced this themselves

Ya got a chuckle on the "helping me out" comment too..... like thats ever going to happen

GSKaplan or anybody can you give me some guidance on installing one of these. Just took a quick peak and it looks like the manifold cover may have to come off first before I can get at the fuel pressure sensor??

Thanks yes I have the negative of this picture above.
I was really hoping to get a picture with more detail including the parts that need dis-assembled . I am sure someone has this.
