Default GFX Front lip and parking curbs/blocks

I've been planning on getting a GFX front lip one day, but wondering how much lower my front end will be.. as it stands I am only 1" lower than standard oem set up.
I am already cutting grass and scrapped my stock lip a tiny bit. never mind my stealership plate frame.

I park like that Just out of habit.. obviously I wouldn't pull up that far with a lip, just wondering how much clearance I would after after the fact. Would I have to stop short of any type of curbs blocks?

That's so risky haha. Your car fits that curb like a glove.

I would park a bit further back too.

Ive also been wondering how much this lip will affect clearance of curbs if you do "happen" to pull a bit too far forward, or encounter one of those pesky angled parking lot entrances.

I would only hit the curb with a truck.

But yeah with the lip on, you need to avoid all curbs/blocks.

Some curbs and parking blocks are tall enough to rub at stock ride height and no lip. Get in the habit now of not pulling that far into a parking place. Our cars aren't that long, and you should fit comfortably in just about any parking place without have to pull all the way in like that. Better safe than sorry.....

if you continue to park like that, no lip can survive. In fact, i wouldn't be surprise to see you rip off your front bumper one day.

The GFX front lip will remove about another inch of clearance.

That's way too close, especially if you're going to add a lip.

Is your car eating lunch there is what? The 2IS is not a long car by any means; you need to start parking shallow, and then you can drop it, add a lip, etc etc.

Yep, get out of the habit of driving over the curb, its not necessary in any event. In fact, to a lot of passerbys, it probably looks like you don't know how to judge your car's distance from the curb, so you just let it roll until something stops it.

Stock height will still curb on some of the parking blocks and curbs.

If you add a GFX Lip, you'll most likely eat concrete or grass

As others said, it's risky to park over the blocks. I already scraped my bumper on stock height with parking blocks...
