Finders Fee $25 LX Mode Upper Gunmetal Grill
Hi Guys,
I have been trying to get my hands on an LX Mode Grill for my 2IS without luck for some time. I need a gunmetal version, no emblem. Strong preference for a new one over second-hand.
If you can lead me to a vendor that has one of these in-stock and ready to ship I will give you $25 via paypal immediately. I hope this is OK with forum rules.
First to post a fruitful lead get the money.
Thanks.

^ You got it. Are you sure they have it in-hand, not a special order though? (I did see that they have it listed on their site before; just haven't had a chance to contact them and find out for sure).
If they have it though, I will need your paypal address.

I just spoke with L-tuned. No gunmetal in stock unfortunately. I may be able to work with the raw one they have, however, my first choice is to get the stock gunmetal one.
Anyone else know of a source?

Guess you're still pretty new. That's the going rate for a JDM grille. Jazz is up there too. Too many people buying cheap eBay stuff that they can't understand JDM prices on rare parts.
I got my upoe and lower from L Tuned, never heard of the other place. Good luck. Loos so much nicer.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have just been informed that we (I wasn't the only one looking) have located the grill I'm looking for through another source. Thankfully it's the right color so this looks like the solution we've been searching for. It has taken so long that I was starting to lose hope that I'd ever get one of these on my car.
Now I'm a man of my word, so I want to reward those who tried to help me with at least a little something (call it a consolation prize)--even if we didn't get the answer we're looking for in this thread.
Although this lead didn't work and I already knew about it, I do want to give you something. Please PM your paypal address and I'll send you a little thank you money.
This one looked promising but also iffy at the same time. Regardless, I should give you a little something for your efforts as well. PM your paypal address and I'll send you a little something too.
The grill I'm replacing was actually quite a bit more than this one is. And it didn't look right without a color-matched grill surround either so it cost even more to install.
So true! I have zero replica parts on my car. Everything is authentic JDM and I wouldn't have it any other way. My wallet might wish I went the replica way though LOL.
Thanks. I agree with you on that. The first grill I put on was the carbon fiber Blitz. I loved the design and look, but grew tired of being able to see the radiator.
