Hi,

I'm upgrading to the is350 front and rear calipers and rotors for my is250. I'm getting a pair of the larger front dust shields. Should I purchase a set for the rear as well. Will the is350 rear dust shield simply bolt on without any modification.

Also, should I worry about the shims? I'm planning to purchase some Hawks ceramic pads and thought they might come with their own shims.

nice upgrade...i did the front but never seen the reason to change the rear...not much difference in caliper size....the dust shield should be about the same if not maybe a slight difference....you can probably shave off the piece that will touch..

Wouldn't really worry about the rear. As for shims - yes you would want to buy those.

rears on the IS350 are vented actually, size is about similar. IS250 rears arent vented
