We use a generic lacquer thinner which was branded under the auto body supply store that we use. Any auto body supply store will sell something similar but I don't think you'll need it. Paint like that is most likely water clean up. Check the label on the can for clean up instructions and follow accordingly.

oh i see, try some water to break loose the paint before trying any type of product? I'm not sure where the can went but i'll see if I can find it. Actually I remember it was a specific paint we were suppose to purchase. The reason being is that it was for our physics boat project, the paint was for hardening the paper (boat made out of wood and paper) as well as for aesthetics. So I remember that it was a paint that specifically doesn't leak chemicals and such into the pool where our boats were tested. Would that mean that water might be tough to remove the paint then?
