Understood, people that over use the term probably don't even know what their talking about and are just hating (another over used term). Don't worry about your car being a ricer, put on a whole bunch of stickers, double decker wings, and Lambo doors and I'd beg to differ.

To me IMO, ricers are a victim of trends and characterized by doing mods and enhancements that were popular in the late 90s to early 2000s. Unfortunately in modding, trends are a part of the game, and what's cool now will not be cool with the next generation of modders. Hellaflush, and VIP are all cool right now but their fair game to the trends and could be labeled as something derogatory somewhere down the road just like what happened to the ricers that we all used to know and love.

1. If you admire american muscle, why didnt you just keep the mustang or buy another/camaro? 2. Megans and removal of resonator doesnt replicate the "rumble" of american muscle, its more a loud sounding system. 3. Heavy modding doesnt = ricer. IMO it tends to go by what u do and how it looks....
