Default Defective Headlight? Can't raise my low beam

Okay I have the 2012 headlights. So my passenger headlight was aiming a light too high so I tried to low it. Now I find that my headlight is pointing completely down. I have been rotating my screwdriver counter-clockwise, however its not raising my headlight. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I checked out other threads and I believe counter-clockwise with the screwdriver raises the light correct. Any help would be appreciate...

Not sure which way you need to turn but if your turning it counter-clockwise and its not doing anything have you tried just turning it clockwise to see if it does anything? I had a similar problem after I had my headlight housing painted satin black. I noticed my light beam on both headlights was off. One was ponited too high and the other too low. Well I was being lazy about it and waited a few days and am not sure when it happened but one day I just noticed that the light beam on both where pointing straight again. Not sure how it happened because am pretty sure i dont have auto adjusting headlights but maybe you'll get lucky and the same thing will happen to you.

Well I turned it clockwise and it loosened up the adjustment screw..I rotate it like 60 clicks...however the light seems to be stuck...is that possible? Its so annoying because my passenger light is just pointing down..

60 clicks is more than enough times to see some kinda movement. When you originally adjusted it did you hear any kind of a loud click or some noise? My guess is its either stuck or some piece were it adjust inside broke.

The screw is not catching the adjustment piece anymore. You will have to open the headlight apart and guide the projector assembly back on track.

An alternative way is take the back covers off and try to grip the projector part with your fingers and turn the adjustment **** at the same time. *Better if you have the headlights off the car. That way you don't need to open the headlight.

So I tried to grip the projector and manually moved the projector up a bit. I felt the adjustment screw moving, as I stuck my finger into the headlight. I just dont understand when the light keeps pointing down. I turned the adjustment screw right and then left and I feel it moving yet I dont feel the light moving up ughhhh...please help...I also noticed that some of the OEM paint in my housing is melting...

Use a drill with a long bit. Move the projector up a little and see if it catches. It does take a lot of turns when using a screwdriver to notice movement.

Pictures from a retrofit might help. The adjusting screw is on the top left of the projector.
