Default Custom Intake-CEL Comes Up-Reset ECU?

So this is what happened....2 weeks ago I swapped out my stock air box, filter, and intake with a short ram intake by Takeda (aFe). I didn't reset the ecu at the time or don't remember doing so. The car drove fine for 2 weeks with no CEL or any problems. Then today...after driving for several hours, I came back to the car, started it up...then all of a sudden the CEL comes up along with a traction control icon on the right. I searched the forums and read that resetting the ecu would help if one switches out the intake. So I reset the ECU by disconnecting negative terminal of the battery for around 3 minutes and then put it back on. Started up the car...the CEL is gone. I drive the car for around 20 minutes on the freeway then back home. No CEL light. Did I solve the problem? Do you think the CEL will come back again? If it doesn't, does that mean the ecu reset did the trick? Thanks in advance.

You have an SRI. Not custom. Lets get that strait.

Next. You solved the problem to my knowledge. You should've done the battery pull from the get go. It should have corrected the issue. Let us know if it comes back up but from the looks it seems to be fine.
