Default Made a bad scratch on the interior paint

Could I use a paint pen to fix this and not have to worry about it rusting away?

you can use matching touch up paint to make it less noticeable, but since the doors cover that spot when you close the doors i don't think its a big deal. just touch up paint it and forget about it.

Took my seats out to apply leatherique...as I was putting them back in I pulled something in my back and was forced to drop the seat for a second.

Man that sucks. Sorry to hear. Touch up paint should do the trick.

I had a similar thing happen to one of my cars, technically its still outside paint but in between exterior & interior. My scratch didn't go all the way to metal so I just left it but yours i would touch it up and move on..

I never use the pen markers, i always get the factory touch-up which is a "brush" type. I would just clean the scratch site, and then then apply alcohol to clean oils off (just a touch) and then apply the brush on like liquid paper on notebook paper, cover the Gash and go over the edge alittle to fully cover the whole area, and let it dry, Repeat again if you feel its needed (depends on how deep the gash is) sometimes need more than one coat.. But if you decide to do extra coats make sure each coat get ample time to Dry. Thats all.

Honestly, I let my wife use the touch-up paint brush because whom else is so experienced with using such a thing!

I used the paint pen and it worked beautifully, I forgot that this even happened because you really have to get close to notice that something went wrong there. I suggest using very little at a time and letting it dry and apply more afterwards.
