Default Quick question.. Please help [How to get best 0-60 time]

I have an 09 IS350 and I'm trying to get a better 0-60 time. Currently running high 5's to low 6's, I know you must turn off TRAC and VSC for better results. When I press and hold the TRAC button for 4 seconds the VSC OFF light won't come on. Just the TRAC OFF light. Does this mean VSC is still on? The best I've managed is a 5.6. But average is around 5.9. Thanks in advance

Yes, you then floor it as you release the brake. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks guys, how do I know is VSC is off?

Note: I did a run with TRAC off, in D and normal mode and revved 1,500 rpms and got a 5.6, which was my best run. I also had a full tank off gas, two passengers, and it was hot outside. Could these factors affect my time by over a half second? Thanks

yes, ditch the spares (the ones in the seats and the trunk) and about 3/4 of your gas and you should improve that time

isn't it over 100F in AZ atm? that can't be helping

Yes it was around 100 when I did that run lol. It's hard to find cold weather here in AZ.

I had traction control completely off

You want the fastest 0-60 time?

Try it on a slight incline and you would get some very very good time

Yeah at 100 outside you'll see a decrease in hp for sure. Also with your passengers it's only making it worse. Try again on a cooler day and with no one in the car but yourself.

Lastly, does it matter that much?
