Default how is the 2nd gen IS so sexy? my first vid.

this is my first video i've ever put together so go easy on me. all footage is shot without a tripod or any sort of equipment that stops the shakiness of rolling video. and then it's all put together in only windows movie maker. i don't have any sort of software for video editing nor any experience of any kind with it.

my IS is very lightly modified with only H&R springs, 20" Miro wheels, 15% tint, and an ebay grill.

hopefully my fellow 2nd gen enthusiasts out there enjoy my 4 minute vid. i had no idea what i was doing just started taking some footage around town and ended up with about 20 clips. then put them together in windows movie maker and added some music.

i didn't really have any sort of plan or how the video would go... i just kind of thought of the vossen and concavo videos out there and that was my inspiration. i wish i knew how they made their vids on youtube look so good.

make sure to watch in HD!

here it is...

Your ride is, as the title suggests, very clean and simple. And I like the concept of clean and simple too.

However, the camera man is too shaky. I couldn't focus.

i know the quality is nowhere near the quality of the concavo/vossen vids but it feels good hearing you say this, thanks! my inspiration for a video like this were those concavo vids on youtube. i just don't have any clue what i'm doing though.

i noticed a few comments that the wheels are too big... does 20" really look too big for the 2nd Gen IS to everyone???

and the last mod i'm looking at now is a lip kit. but i just don't know if i will.

thank you everyone for the positive comments. hopefully it adds another good 2nd gen IS vid to the youtube archive

i have been really surprised about the lack of a harsher ride that i expected to have by switching to the 20" wheels from the OEM 18" staggered setup.

with the 30 series tires and H&R lowering springs + OEM shocks the ride quality is still plenty comfy for the car. I do however rub very slightly on turns. the front offset is 35 and i needed a 5mm spacer to clear the front caliper so it's technically now a 30 offset on the fronts. i slightly rub on slow tight turns.
