Ouch, sorry to hear, but PDR should be able to get it back to 90% at least.

Not sure what your auto coverage is, but i'm going to have to disagree with people saying to go through insurance (even if you have a low deductible). Insurance companies are there to make money, low or high deductible they will make up for covering the repair somehow through future premiums/etc. Yes, you might save a few bucks now going through insurance but in the long run you will be losing, and your carfax report may also be potentially flagged. Unless there is a 3rd party who is at fault, and you can involve their insurance, or if the $ from the accident is too big to cover, i would avoid going through insurance.

I don't think any competent PDR can bring it back to flawless. 80-90% is possible, if you can live with some flaws. The metal panal is badly creased and, with usual PDR technique, it can't be rolled/kneaded/hammered to factory smooth metal panal. Just like a new sheet of papar, scrunch it and you will never be able to bring it back to perfect smooth.

Go to a competent/best body shop you can find is the proper way, I think.

Hey, I know this sounds like a crazy Idea but try and use a suction cup, it won't get it 100% but will get a hell lot better.

PDR cannot remove that dent it's buckled. The metal is stretched. If you take it to a body shop they will have to replace the fender versus repairing it. Because the replacement cost is cheaper. They need to blend into the hood and the drivers door for color matching purposes. Unfortunately it seems like a van/ truck backed into you. It was certainly a higher vehicle. It helps sometimes is the area you were parked has some form of survelance. Because now you have to pay a deductible out of your own pocket to have it fixed. H&R claims don't generally increase your rates on the positive note. Your looking at about a $900 + repair if your doing it on your own. Best of luck to you and sorry to hear.

Note: after reviewing the very first image it looks like your front wheel has a slight nick/ scratch most likely related to the accident. If so it needs to be refinished or repl and you need an alignment just to be sure if the other vehicle hit your wheel.

SOrry to hear that...

My car needed alignment after the fender got pushed into the front wheel.

Hit and run pisses my off everytime I hear it. My friend got rear-ended and the car that hit sped off. I can't believe nobody caught the plates of the car that ran away.
