I wanna get megan ez coilovers but read this on there site and now im debating do i want my car to look cooler but possibly have a light on my dash on, let me know what you guys with megan ezs opinions....
"NOTE: The VSC Light may illuminate due to installation of the damper system. This is due to the Vehicle Stability Control system being integrated to the OEM suspension and wheel and tire, and thus removal of the system would cause the warning light (VSC) to illuminate. At this time, Lexus/Toyota does not want to disclose how to remove the light from appearing. Similar instances happen due to a change in tire/wheel combination."

Have someone who knows that theyre doing do the install and you wont have any problems.

I lowered mine 2 inches from factory setup on Megan EZ coils and I have no light at all. Ride quality isn't terrible either. I guess it's preference, but I agree with the earlier post... If you're paying for it do what you want to it. The car looks 100 times better lowered IMO. Go springs for a subtle drop and call it a day.

I'm riding stock for now too and probably going to stay that way until I make a good steady income and pay off my student loans
Here are my mods on my Black 08 IS250 AWD, all of which were pretty cheap and DIY:
6k HID fogs + stand alone fog mod
LED DRL kit + LED parking lights
LED cabin lights
LED flank puddle lights from VLEDs (one of the easiest and best mods)
F-sport style Ebay front grill painted graphite (without the emblem)
Plasti-dipped grille surround
Plasti-dipped OEM wheels then put a coat of duplicolor graphite and clear coat
Ebay roof spoiler
GFX tips
Redouts
20% tints all around, 50% on the windshield
Blacked out rear emblems + reflectors
OEM trunk lip
Next up probably: interior wrap, and I really need to invest in a V1 radar detector. My 8500 got stolen from my car

Just got an 07 IS 250! Currently it's all stock and I don't plan on lowering it since I live in Colorado and roads can be a little crazy
I plan on working my way up on mods.. starting with the appearance first: CF interior wrap, tints, plasti dip trim and rims, etc

Mine is not but I just got it and trying to get educated which route to go and if it's worth it. I really don;t want to compromise the ride quality and don't want the wheel to touch something funky in there when I go over bumps.. Still reading and reading I hate the gap that's for sure.

trunk lip (on the way)
also looking into getting my roof vinyl wrapped possibly CF and yellow fogs

Mine hasn't been lowered yet. Wife drives my car most of the time now... I can't trust her with the parking blocks. Instinct tells her to stop when the car no longer moves... basically tires on the blocks. Lowered means I'll have to invest in a new bumper every half a year.
