Default Change in value after the engine TSIB?

My 07 has 85000 miles and is in for the carbon issue, misfire etc. they are replacing all the parts, even the water pump that was rattling. What would they then warranty? And what kind of change in value would there be?

9yrs/unlimited miles is the current warranty for the carbon build up issue only from the CSP. Though I do wonder if that would cover any repairs that may have resulted from a bad repair job. The carbon build up work is very intensive after all. If the problem still occurs after the repair as well, i'm guessing the best they could do is do a top engine clean - that or replace the entire block.

As far as the value, I don't really think it would affect it much, haven't really seen anyone here complain about that either. I could see it going two ways though if it does affect anything - some might say its a bad thing that the repair was done, others might say the repair would extend the life of the motor. It might be a problem that deters buyers that have done their research though.
