okay so I'm looking to get the xXR 526 rims in the 18 x 9 size and I was wondering if 265 40 18 is the right size in the back because the tire guy is telling me not to get those for some reason and that size is a little bit harder to get so I think he's just trying to sell me on the ones he has. can anyone let me know if they have any 265 currently and how they look and if there's any issues thanks

he's half right. 265/40-18 is an uncommon size.

however, 265/35-18 isn't.

as a matter of fact, if you're going one size wider, i recommend 265/35-18.
