Ok so I had bought the volt 6k from xenondepot and it looks great . White with slight blue tint. I also bought the garax 6k from http://www.mteclightingusa.com/ since i heard it matches well with the volt 6k.

Once I had installed them I noticed that the garax 6k did not look as whiteish blue and it has a yellowish look once it is warmed up. I was wondering if maybe they sold me fake ones or a bad batch.

Your not the first person to have issues with Garax bulbs.

I would say get a refund and get the xenondepot bulbs for your headlights

I was thinking getting the xenon depot ones, but they come in 6.5k...

Yeah I know. I doubt the color is really that much more blue than the 6k 9006 bulb

we will see i really wanted to have the garax/volt setup heard alot of good things color matching wise. Obviously thats not the case in my situation and i wonder why. I am going to call them up later today and see what happens.

Ballast have a factor in output also. Are you using slim ones?

im using the stock ballast. I know that there is alot of things that can change its look, but its yellow and 6k should not look yellow at all as shown in the pictures.

that is basically what it should look like with my setup.

Ok so i'm sending them back. and they are going to replace them hopefully they will be right this time.

Im having issues with mtec lighting and GARAX. My original GARAXs were great, lasted 3 years.

Phillips is good also
