today i replace my throttle body, i had to remove two hoses which are connected to the cooling system, these hoses are referred to as water bypass hoses, before i did this, i check the reservoir for the first time and topped up a bit of coolant as it seemed close to the minimum mark. Once i removed one of the hoses was expecting coolant to leak out but as the hoses are quiet high up there wasnt much in them.

I did hear air noise as soon as i release the hose from the throttle body, i'm assuming thats air being sucked in, but sounded more like air was being blown out.

Anyway, so after i put everything back. car was completely cold for over 6 hours so i tried to start it with the radiator cap open as people say to let the car run with the cap open and heater setting high so that the air can burp out. But as soon as i started the car, coolant came gushing out and made a mess all over my engine bay. Tried to clean as much of it off as possible.

So how exactly am i supposed to bleed the air, the radiator cap method didnt seem to work. I've driven the car around for a while and also let it idle and revved up the car for a while and temp looks ok. I do still get the water sound inside the cabin though. But i also had this before even doing this.

Any help would be much appreciated.
