Moulding F-sport bumper splitters?

Molding splitters on the bumper will make the whole front bumper looks cleaner with no line between the the bumper and the splitter. However, if it were my case, I wouldn't do it because:
1. I will lose the originality of my bumper. Once done, it is almost impossible to go back.
2. It can and will most likely crack eventually along the splitter-bumper meeting line, down the road. Bumper always takes the beating--ramps, curbs, bump stop, incautious drivers, snow, etc... When the seam cracks, it will make your bumper looks worse than it actually is. And it will be harder, more costly to repair than the OEM version of the splitter.
Anyway, if you one a unique, clean bumper, do it and post some pictures.
