Is250 transportation fee.
Hi buddies, I have a question hope you guys help me out.
Ok, I live in Houston, TX. I have to move to Springfield, VA in about 2 more months. I was wondering if it wouldn't cost me so much money to transport my is250 to VA. Is there anyone if us know any info about this matter? How much ? Where ? How does it proceed? Please write it up here. Once again, I thank to all of your helps!!

I vote for Road Trip. My girlfriend and I just drove my 2011 Lexus IS350 from Alexandria, VA (4-5 miles away from Springfield, VA) to San Diego, CA. Took us about 3.5 days and an estimated $450 on gas.
If you do decide to drive it over, I strongly recommend taping up the front bumper, hood, and maybe the fenders with painters tape. I really regret not doing that, ended up having a lot of bugs/bug guts stuck, and after washing and using some clay bar to remove the bugs, I found a lot of rock chips.

but I drive it myself , you know, it will be a long driveeeeee..this is my first longest trip I have ever had . it always bugs me whenever I try to decide either drive or ship it, what benefits better from one to another.

Do the road trip, and definitely put on the painters tape on the front end too. It definitely helps and makes cleaning up the bugs easy as hell once you get there. The problem with shipping the car is you don't know how they are handling your car in transit and if it gets damaged during shipping you'll get the run around. Better off driving it yourself and having a good time on the drive as well
