Jack the car up, put on jack stands, and simply remove the bolts. Spray the bolts with a penetrating oil first to make things easier.

Then you didn't look hard enough. From the muffler tips, follow the piping towards the front of the car.

Tburke if you want to remove just the mufflers then you have cut it off. There are no bolts right behind it unless u go back towards the midpipe section and unbolt there.

Our rear exhaust is an axle back. The mufflers are welded into the pipes that start from just before the rear axle and go all the way to the tips. Have you heard one of our cars with no mufflers? This is the first I've heard of possibly doing this...... I'm not thinking you would like the way a muffler delete is gonna sound.

I had that and it sounded good for a while, but at 2000 rpm there is way to much drone in the cabin. It gets really annoying.

Don't remove your mufflers just for sound. That's gonna be annoying and it's illegal. Get a mid pipe with stick exhaust if you want sound.

Very well said. Some of the biggest mistakes I've ever made were fun for about five minutes.....
