Welcome to CL.....well I'll be the nice guy here and tell you that a very small handful have supercharged their cars gaining about 50HP at max for about $5,000. So If you have that kind of money and have someone or you have time to do it, it CAN be done. It's just not as simple as other cars out there. good luck and search for supercharged IS cars.

It's just not worth it, for the money you will spend for just 50HP or so you are better off trading in your 250 for a 350 and getting an extra 100hp.

Trade in for a 350 or a F. More HP, less money spent, more reliable.

Lol nope. But makes me feel good to hear all the people tell people not to boost. Keep telling them that, so I continue to be a rare breed.

Yeah boost def makes you unique lol.

And I didnt mean to direct my comment to the OP, just in general. Ive noticed way too many people asking simple questions that can be answered by searching....

Turbo or supercharging is no good for the is. You can do it but if you want the 50hp boost for $5k then its best you spend it elsewhere. Our engines compression ratio is so high that there is not much you can do to it via supercharging or turbo. Now tune it NA and you can get a lot more for your money.

Unless you know someone that can crack the ECU, then tunning won't be possible
