^ Paint the wald spoiler black but leaving the carbon fiber exposed on the tip of the spoiler. Similar to this member's ISF wald spoiler.. If you're planning to have real carbon fiber on the rear, definitely stay away from wrapping your rear lip/diffuser because it'll be too obvious on the differences..
Excited to see this when you're done.

thanks for the suggestion! always helpful. hm but i think i'd like to keep the trunk spoiler CF for now, and do as you suggested when it starts fading
if i keep trunk spoiler CF, i think i'll pain the myride diffuser like the audi one (middle gun metal , outside black), and keep it black/grey theme overall
how does this sound?

OK!!
so i installed a wald Carbon Fiber trunk spoiler!
now for my myride diffuser paint, i'm debating between
1. middle section gunmetal/dark gray, outside areas black (kind of like the audi/2is in previous post)
2. entire diffuser gunmetal/dark gray (like this member's car, but mine will be entire gunmetal diffuser on obsidian car
painting next week! any last minute input greatly appreciated!!
thanks everyone

I had this exact debate when I was looking to buy the JP Vizage or Wald rear. Everytime I see an IS in any color other than black, they would have the lip painted the color of the car and the inside part between the tips black. It looked really good and I wanted to two-tone mine but in the end, I just went all black and I don't regret it. I think all black would look great on your car.
