Default 2011 is 250 new exhaust installed

Wanted to share my experience with the magnaflow exhaust axle back system pn# 16764,
I ordered the system thru a local muffler shop, only took a couple days for delivery. Installation was done at shop, took less than 15 minutes. The fit was great, at first start-up it sounded great !!
A deep tone, not much louder than stock at idle, then things change on take-off from 0 to 40 the drone is very loud below 2000 rpm and again before 3000 rpm. The drone inside the car with the windows up is really loud during take-off to 35 mph then on to 60 mph, really kills the sound system in the car ,you have set volume level at 35 to 40 to drown out the drone.
The system has been on the car for about two weeks now and drone it is starting to get old .
I am not downing magnaflow or any of their products, which are very high quality and fit well, I am disappointed in the system due to a lack of information or sound clips. I will be going back to the oem exhaust system soon, I just wanted to share with the rest of you and maybe it will help someone else who is thinking about and exhaust change.

You could have just gone with one of the more popular exhaust systems that have plenty of sound clips and reviews and saved yourself the trouble/money with this one.

Just a thought.

I've got the "cheap" M2 axle back and the drone is barely noticeable at highway speeds. Just turning the stereo on to 15-20 covers up the drone.

I hear good things about magnaflow exhaust performance wise but from the cars that Ive owned in the modding community say the same thing about them all around, a lot of cabin drone while driving

I had Magnaflows on my old 250 however they were just mufflers and tip welded to the stock piping and the car had a deep tone and no drone at all while driving normaly unless I went WOT on the car.
