Default Awd owners with vibrations

I really want to get h&r springs installed on my awd but just curious to how bad these vibrations really are? Does the whole car shake?

From what I've experienced, It's a minor shake from the front that happens during acceleration. Only from about 10-20 mph.

I get light to moderate vibrations when fully stopped (ie red lights, idle, etc).

Do you feel it through the entire car or just the steering wheel?

I feel it prominently in the steering wheel, but you can tell there is a slight noise associated with it as well. I get this vibration through the steering wheel at red lights, etc 100% of the time.

The vibration he was talking about when at a complete stop, you can feel through the car.
If you're only lowering about an inch or around the same drop that the F-sport springs...You shouldn't really have to worry about it.

Did it come with the car or did you just recently installed it?

This is news to me, didn't know it causes vibration, as I'm still researching between springs or coils. Thx for the post.

Yeah I have coilovers and I have it dropped 2 inches. It vibrates. I have just popped the car in neutral while at stop lights to stop the vibration. It isn't too big of a deal. The vibration should not be a deal breaker.

It just seemed like people described the vibration as being terrible. I've read on the forum that people have sold there car because they couldn't stand it. It doesn't make the rearview mirror shake right lol?

Honestly the vibrations aren't anything crazier than vibrations felt in other cars. I don't get vibrations through the steering wheel, but once in awhile i get an annoying vibrating noise from the passenger wheel well when at a complete stop in D (goes away in N).

This is dropped on Tein S Techs.

And no, rearview mirror doesn't shake. Where are you in NY? You're welcomed to check out the vibrations (or lack of) in my AWD

It's not as bad as people say............and it's just springs, doesn't even drop much
the theory is the lower the drop, the harsher the vibration (e.g. if you slam the awd on coils then it PROBABLY will act up like it's got epilepsy, but nobody does that on awd unless they wanna be replacing cv boot every couple weeks)

Most the time I notice my car vibrating is when the car is idling higher than normal (cold weather). It is not that bad though, its very slight. Depends on the day if it annoys me a little or not I just put the car in neutral and its gone lol.

I get these vibrations on the stock suspension. I like to rest my left knee on the door pane when I drive and can feel a lot through the door. It varies from heavy vibration to none at all and it always goes away when I pop it in neutral, but when I do the neutral thing sometimes it clunks and lurches the car so I try not to do it because I thought it could be bad for the tranny. This led me to think it could be a motor/tranny mount, propshaft issue, carbon buildup, or a combo. So I guess the point is how is this related to the springs?
