Selling my IS. Can I get buyout?
I have a 2011 is250 AWD 22k miles. All options. Dark Blue with black leather. Payoff is $29,762. I hit something in the road and took off a piece of the bumper on the very bottom. I'm down in FL with it at the moment. How hard would it be to get what I owe?

Have you searched the value of your car on KBB.com (or a similar site) in your area? I would start with what you find there and then decide what your best options are.

check both KBB and Edmunds. My experience with Japanese cars is that as long as your price is within reasonable range based on KBB or Edmunds value, it will be sold very quickly. Trade in always has less value than what you can get from private party.
Just put in Craigslist and you should be able to find buyer.

For almost 30,your best bet is trade in. I mean if you really think about it, not a lot of people buy $30k cars private party. If I had 30k to spend on a car, I would go buy it brand new. Scout your dealership, I know some will give you more money than others.
I'm from ny and the market for awd cars went up after this past bad winter. I got lucky and got my is for well below book value but when I was looking, you couldn't find a subaru 2011 used for under 30 so I know you will be able to sell that lexus here
