2007 IS250 AWD 191k ... Should I ?
Need help with this and just wondering if anyone here has on of these cars with this kind of mileage. I'm looking for one but really don't want to spend much so I came across this 2007 awd and carfax is clean with 2 owners 1 being a lease for the first year and the rest of the miles are all from the second owner ..... Any help would be greatly appreciated .. Thanks

I mean if your going to get it for cheap, plan on modding it and wouldn't get butt hurt about replacing a few parts here and there, I would say why not. I would buy it and do a v8 or 2jz swap in it. Something you wouldnt get again 'butt hurt' if you had to heavily modify the thing. OR EVEN VIP
If its for a daily driver, then absolutely not. Chances are your going to have to invest more money than you want into it, and you wont get optimal driving mpg with it.

It is for a daily driver. I have a 2008 gs awd and haven't had any issues with it but it only has 66k . What are some of the most common issues with the 250's ?

If under $9k I would buy it if you dont!
High milliage cars have most known issues fixed. I bought my 06 with 122k miles and have not had any issues with it. I also have a Corolla with 214k miles which I owe since it had 89k miles and have only changed tires and brakes on it since then! Thats 125k miles almost maintenance free.......Lex/Toyotas are dependable workhorses!

I own a 2007 is250 with 58k. I had the engine recall & have been to the dealership 3 times regarding it. The car has been driving rough & feels like it's going to stall out even though I cater to it like a child. Make sure the car you're looking into has had that engine fixed & save yourself the headache. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my car, but I just want it to run to its full potential. I bought my Lexus because I know it's dependable. My father has an 86 Corolla & drives better than most vehicles out now. They last long regardless of the miles as long as they have been taken care of properly.

I would base my decision on maintenance history and interior wear and tear. I think this kind of purchase warrants a LOT of research. Luckily for you, regular maintenance in not a problem on this car. I think the only thing you'd need to be wary about besides the major maintenance items is the carbon build-up issue, but you'll still be covered by the CSP until around 2016.
How is the exterior paint and body condition? Condition of the seat leather (scratches, tears, cracks)? Is the material on the door panels coming loose around the handle?
