Default Vinyl wrapped front L emblem in 3M Brushed Titanium

Vinyl wrapped the front emblem in Brushed Titanium. Looks 100X better than chrome. I had a few chips on the front emblem and I didn't want to plasti dip it because I don't like the missing/stolen emblem look on the front. This was perfect to get rid of the chrome.

UPDATE: Finally got some pics from a distance, looks 1000x better IMO

I like the look of that. Any pics from a little further back?

I don't have any right now, just finished it in my garage last night. I'll take some and update.

I forgot to include, I wrapped this with the emblem on the car. Definitely isn't easy but its doable. I've been doing vinyl work for almost 3 years now and it took me about 15-20 mins.

The brushed texture looks great. I wrapped my interior trim in the brushed black and love it.

how is this possible?! I have contemplated doing this for a while but wrapping something like this seemed extremely difficult to me.

how did you precut the vinyl

It was not precut. Short form is you lay a square piece of vinyl on, heat and squeegee it to form the shape of the L, and trim the excess. I primered the emblem with a special adhesive promoter and sprayed a wet solution on to apply. Can be done without primer or wet solution but will make it harder and it may lift around the edges. I'm going to be doing a Toyota emblem soon, I can make a DIY of any of you are interested.

I just bought a 12 x 60 roll from these guys:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/120985300476?...84.m1497.l2649

It's the 3M 1080 Brushed Titanium BR230. You guys might be able to find it locally too. It's about $25-30 locally here but I just ordered it from ebay cause I was too lazy to drive across the city to pick it up lol. I bought a lot because I want to wrap other stuff with it too and it's a better deal to buy this quantity.
