Default Quick question about my 07 IS250 DRL's.....

Hello everyone, I have a 2007 IS250 AWD with recently installed 2012 headlights, and I just have a quick question to anyone who would know the answer. Can the DRL's be disabled on the 2007 IS250?

I read a boatload of threads on it, but didn't get a definitive answer. I ask because I went to Sewell Dallas today, and they told me the 2007 IS250 doesn't have the option to disable them.

Are they incompetent or is this true? I know one guy stated in his thread that the option is under "light options" whenever they go to disable it, but I didn't wanna get into a pissing match with the guy by him thinking I was "trying to tell him his job", so I didn't let him know that it's under the light options..

Can someone please chime in, because I don't want to run around with a pulled fuse just to disable them.

And please, if any of you are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that have got theirs disabled, please let me know which dealer you went to.

Thanks.

They should be able to be disabled on any USA model (06-13). Only Canadian models can't turn them off.

Yes its possible to do.

If you search for a previous thread, someone posted a pdf of the techstream instructions to disable the DRLs. I printed them out and had my dealer do it

It might make sense getting the tech stream off ebay or something and then just DIY. It may also come in handy down the road.

I went to the dealer to disable DTRL and they were hesitant / non compliant. Instead of wasting another few hours on a saturday plus gas & toll i ordered the techstream and have saved myself at least a few trips already for other stuff
