Default IS Non-Nav with ML and Flyaudio

Hi CL!

I own an ISF 2008 with a Non-Nav Mark Levinson and would like to do a Flyaudio upgrade. Based on an old thread started by swyner about swapping the OEM Nav to Flyaudio on an ML eqquiped IS, it seems that a Non-nav IS will come with a J54 which I assume mine has. So it would suggest to be almost plug-n-play based on that thread.

Am I right on this assumption?

I am getting different information about the FlyAudio working or not with the Mark Levinson IS 2nd Gen model. Is there is any information or pictures that you guys may need to definitely confirm that the Flyaudio will work or not on my car?

Thanks a lot in advanced!

I installed POS FlyAudio in my is250 without ML and if I remember correctly, the connectors looked the same as your setup.

What is the reliability of the fly audio unit? I only see distributors in China selling it and the one that was for sale here on CL said the Nav had to be constantly re-set and the SD card reader didn't work properly. Anyone else have trouble with the fly audio or have success stories?

I read many posts in that thread but could not find concrete information if the FA will work on a ML equipped IS.

Looking forward for some insight on this. :-)
