Is this an easy DIY in terms of installation? Or is it better to just take it to a professional installer? I'm thinking about doing this when I get the funds in place.

Very easy search YouTube for video to take off your bumper if you need to visual see it.

sorry to bring this back from the dead but im new to the is250.

I have a 2006 Is250. I have a friend with an 2011 IS F Sport bumper laying around, will this be a direct fitment on mine or does the sewell IS bumper package have different specs?

You'll need the headlight brackets, fender brackets, and foglight assemblys at the minimum as well. The bumpers are the same.

Fog Lamp assemblies, L&R (with bulbs)
Fog Lamp brackets & hardware
F-Sport Upper Grille w/ Surround and Weatherstrip
F-Sport Lower Grille Insert
Front Lip Spoilers (L&R)
Retainers & Fasteners
Mounting brackets & hardware
LED Fog Lamp Wire harness required for proper installation

Does anyone know if the engine cover underneath on the 06-08 line up with the fsport bumper or will i need the 11-13 engine cover underneath the car? Need to know asap so I can order from sewell before the 1st... thanks everyone

No it won't and niether will your inner fender liner. But that up too you if you want to waste your money. You really don't need to switch it.

Yup. What Laobo said.

I read on other threads that you might need to change the FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER for a flush/perfect fit.

As for the under cover others just tucked it into the bumper. Doesn't look perfect but not super noticeable. Make sure you buy the fog light wiring harness to for it work.

I wanted to do the conversion too with the 2012 LED headlights. Total came out to 4300 from sewell. Then my fiance said "I guess you don't want a wife anymore." My dreams got crushed.
