Thank guys, what basically happened is I was driving heading to work in no rush as i was going to meeting at another hospital doing 60MPH on the far right lane when all of a sudden I feel and hear a loud bang on the back right. Then in the blink of an eye the rear end fish tails on me i counter steer but the car bites back the other way which spun me causing me to hit the guard rail a couple of times. Once my dad and a friend of mine started to take apart the car we found out what the loud bang was. The back right tire has a huge M8 bolt (type of bolt you would use to fasten a support beam) which deflated the tire instantaneously so basically like a blow out. The bolt is so big that I don't think the tire is salvageable.

As for the mods on the old car miraculously every thing survived except the driver side light. Two wheels suffered damaged lips but I'm having them replaced and installing everything on the new car except for the front lip, one good headlight and mirror covers which I'm giving to my sister for her 2008 IS. The only thing that I have left that I am selling is the torsen LSD pumpkin and the flyaudio unit which is pending sale at the moment.

Glad you're enjoying the brakes, as for the 350 it should have all my old parts on it once I get them painted. However I don't want to put anything on her until I get the wheels repaired. Once that happens It should take me a weekend to get her looking like my old one.

I have to admit I do miss shifting in the IS and when I get into the new car I find myself trying to step on a pedal with my left foot to start her up. Other than that I love the extra power and it takes a little use to as I find the accelerator pedal more sensetive than my old 6mt.

Man, it was sorry to hear about your accident. It hurts losing a car you've spent time/money/blood/sweat into. But glad you are ok and that insurance did you right. But you gotta admit, the 350's power is awesome...even if only available in auto.

So i finally went ahead and pulled the bolt out of the tire that cause me to have a blow out and these were the results.

Glad your okay man, that bolt is pretty big, kinda crazy how such an item with flat ends on both sides can puncture a tire that deep!!!

Believe it or not, everything happens for a reason, and it looks like you came out on top with the new ride and your safety as well. Not to mention the accident didn't involve anybody else which is really good to hear.

Can't wait to see what you do to the new IS, welcome to the dark side.

EDIT: Did you buy this car at a Lotus/Lamborghini dealer lol?

I came out of fine but I am upset that my insurance went up 80 bucks a month(last ticket was 2003 and last crash was 1998) for an accident of no fault of my own, and yes I purchased the car at a lotus/Lambo dealer. The car looked so out of place there but from what the sales guy told me it was traded in by some rich guy that bough it as a regular car to drive but never did (hence the 4k on the car) so he traded it and bought something else of their lot.
