Powertrain warranty expiring soon
hi, everyone! i got a 2007 is250 with 80k km , and the powertrain warranty is expiring soon, so what should i check by the dealer before it expire, i got my waterpump replaced last year, so i think the waterpump will be ok. and i just thinking do the 80k km maintenance service ? will it be ok to check up my car ? it cost roughly 500 +tax canadian dollars.

Unless there is a problem with our cars powertrain you're still going to be paying regular prices of maintenance. the major thing to get checked out is the carbon build up problem, I'm in canada as well and I asked if they extended the carbon build up thing for 9 or whatever years like the states did and they didn't really give me an answer so I'd say that's the first thing you should tell them to check out. You could tell them to run full diagnostics, but that will probably cost you if nothing shows up.
