Brand new owner/member with questions
Hi guys,
I would like to say hello and introduce myself. I just get a new 2012 Lexus IS350 AWD (Obsidian with black interior) and I am loving it. I already want to start modding it and personalizing it. It's alway difficult deciding what you should do first.
One question to you guys is: If you could go back and start modding all over again, what is the first thing you would do?
Also I have been looking for a badge-less front grill, I have checked the regular sources but I could not find one for the 2012.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum! I tried fighting off the mod bug as long as possible but...normally I would start with suspension, drop that bad boy, mine will finally be enjoying a "normal" ride height in a few weeks.

Tint and sways.
I don't have the sways yet but from what I'm told I should have done that first. I get mods as they become available (better price) rather than purchasing them in the order I want. I figure the car will end up the way I want it. Just get the parts in an order that makes sense (ie: coils before wheels)

juvi22003- where did you get the badge-less F-sport grill? That is exactly what I am looking for! Thanks
I never even thought about the sway bars, this is exactly why I asked.
Also, just a crazy thought; do you guys know what Toyota emblem we can use to replace the rear Lexus emblem? i.e. from an Avalon or 2010 Camry?

I started with my JDM yellow fogs... And it was all downhill, I mean money, I mean it has been nothing but fun since then hahaha. Good luck! Also, the 2is does not have a Toyota model worldwide, they are all sold as Lexus, so as far as switching from a Lexus to Toyota badge I would stray away from that, but thats just my opinion, its your car!! Happy modding!
