If modding is your thing and you don't need a lot of space in your car (If you think the 2IS back seat is a joke wait till you sit in the back seat of an FRS/BRZ) and you'd rather just have a fun car to drive and modify moderately or heavily, i'd say go the FRS/BRZ route.

I wouldn't trade it unless I wanted a track car. I sat in Mark from Fatlace's FRS with Greddy turbo. It is nice but looks like a kids car and the interior is way too tight. Looks like you have a pattern of getting smaller and smaller cars.

They are sexy modded. In a perfect world both, but between the two LEXUS>SCION.

Dont do it.. I'm probably gonna part out soon but i would rather drive a stock 2IS than the FRS.. eventually they're like Civics on the road..

I've personally test drove one a few weeks back and man was that a fun drive (and ironically more softer and quieter than my IS). The FRS is a good weekend car in my opinion and definitely more mod friendly then my AWD IS. The interior isn't the best, but they sell the car as an affordable sports car and not a luxury car so a cheap interior is kind of expected (if only just a little). If Toyota kept is as the GT 86 instead of throwing it to the Scion youth group brand, it wouldn't target the teenaged drivers we associate Scions with.

If your options were more open, I would recommend you keeping your IS and getting the FRS as a weekend car. In the ideal case, I would recommend you go for an FRS if you are more serious about modding or love manual transmissions; otherwise keep the IS, it's still a great car.

Josh you are absolutely right every booth had one in it. I say you are going backwards if you geta FRS. It the same as when the scion brand came out everyone wanted one

if you do, dibs on the diffuser. lol.

FRS is a great car to mod, a newer car and looks great. they can be made fast if that's your thing as well.
