So I realize this has probably been discussed before but its all over the place and a hard topic to search explicitly.

Anyway, I have 3k fogs and need to get the HID lows to go with em. I like the blue and yellow look and am concerned 6k isn't blue enough. But I know 6k and 3k combo is pretty popular.

Not trying to go ricey just tasteful mods so tell me if 8k is tool much.

btw, first thread and relatively new here so big thanks for the help so far.

i only see ricers with 8000k
6000k is the way to go
also 6000k you will get better light output

I personally have 6k lows with 3k fogs. It is a good look. I suggest you mod your lights to your liking. I might change to 8k lows in the future when I get bored of the 6k's.

If you care about visibility, don't get 8k... The higher the Kelvin, the less useable light there is

Go 6k. They have plenty of blue color to them and amazing light output.

i have the factory 4300K and 3K fogs, perfect combo. i wouldnt go higher than 6k though, its gonna look ultra blue then. like auto zone blue bulbs and your light output is gonna go into the toilet
